One website found that 1/3 of all married couples in the US met online. They also went deeper to decide who was happier in the relationship, the couples who met online or by more traditional means. The study found that after marriage, only 5.96% of couples who met online broke up by the end of the survey period, compared to 7.67% of couples who met by other means.

Marriage and Online Dating
Everyone online dating website says that they have the highest rate for marriage, so I decided to look into that. To my surprise, when googling "Online dating and marriage" some of the top site that come up are actually dating sites for people who are already married, looking to have an affair with someone who is also married. One of those sites is TrueCheater.com.

well, i am much happier with my girlfriend, who I met by more or less traditional means (at a conference) than the approximately 30 women I met online & went out with. The traditional has all sorts of advantages
